We got the estimate for the flood in Michigan and its worse than our "worse case senario". Its going to be 6K for water, carpet, pad removal, antimicrobial wash and replacement of drywall (2 ft of dry wall along the basement). We still need new carpet and pad, AND we will need to dig a drainage ditch or something around the house to prevent more flooding in the future.
We are waiting on another estimate, but the water has already been there for 4 days.
